Yodnoma

Roadmap

Yodnoma moves towards a big goal in small but precise steps. Each stage is tested in the hands of real users, and the next one is built on its results.

The plan is open because Yodnoma is being built together with its users. The readers themselves decide which features are needed first.

Below are four stages: the first is active now, the rest are queued. Timelines are deliberately not fixed rigidly — quality matters more than speed.

  1. Stage 1 · now

    The app — first version

    In development

The essentials come first: in the app’s first version you photograph a book page and the app returns a summary + 3 key ideas + 1 quote. The goal is to test the idea on real users: text recognition quality, summary usefulness, how people use it. Trial participants are chosen from the waitlist.

  2. Stage 2 · next

    Personal shelf and collection

    Planned

Saved quotes will turn into an orderly collection: themed collections, quote of the day, card creation. A personal shelf will appear — the books you read, statuses and notes in one place. Search will work not only by titles but by meaning.

  3. Stage 3 · then

    Book lovers’ community

    In the future

Book clubs will launch: 30-day marathons, chapter-by-chapter discussions, spoiler protection. Themed tracks — Uzbek literature, philosophy, history, science, psychology, business, classics and more. Culture rules apply from day one: respect, sources, spoiler marks.

  4. Stage 4 · long term

    Book ecosystem

    In the future

Cooperation with publishers: an accurate catalogue of editions, connections with bookstores, events. Yodnoma will become an ecosystem uniting readers, publishers and bookstores. This is a long-term goal — the first three stages must become solid first.

Why is the plan open?

Because Yodnoma is not built alone. After each stage the results are analysed, users are interviewed, and the next step is set accordingly.

If the order needs to change — it will change. For example, if clubs are demanded earlier than expected, they will be moved forward. Flexibility is a small team’s strength.

There are three ways to take part: join the waitlist and get into the first trials; tell us which feature you need — voting is open; tell your friends about Yodnoma. The more readers, the richer the community.

What will not be included

There are also deliberately excluded things: an infinite news feed, public ranking tables, a “race for likes”, forced subscriptions. These distract attention from books — so they will not enter Yodnoma.

Every new idea passes one test: “Will this bring the reader closer to the book?” If the answer is “no” — the idea is set aside, however attractive it may be.
