Yodnoma

Community

Reading often looks like a solitary pursuit — but the deepest impressions are born when shared. A conversation between two people who have read one book equals a third book.

The Yodnoma community is a place bringing book lovers together: book clubs, chapter-by-chapter discussions, reading marathons. Here people meet around a book — not a random feed, but a shared interest.

The environment is deliberately built quiet: no infinite feed, no “race for likes”, no ranking tables. There is meaningful conversation and people who respect each other. Like the reading room of a good library.

The Yodnoma community is not a social network: no follower counts are visible here, and there is no way to “trend”. Only books, questions and answers. Slow, deep, sincere.

What’s here

Four pillars of the community

  1. Book clubs

30-day marathons: you read one book together with a group. Chapters are set each week, a separate discussion opens for each. At the end — a shared conclusion and the strongest quotes.

  2. Book discussions

Separate conversations for each book and chapter. Automatic spoiler protection: a discussion of a chapter you have not read yet will not be shown to you. Questions, quotes, disagreement — all welcome.

  3. Reading marathons

Moving together towards a shared goal: for example, “three books in a month” or “classics over the summer”. Participants share progress and cheer each other on. Not a competition — companionship.

  4. Recommendations

“What similar should I read?” — readers answer most reliably. Recommendations from people with matching taste are more accurate than an artificial algorithm.

Clubs

Find a club matching your interest

Clubs are organised by theme — everyone will find something close. Each club has a 30-day programme: it is known in advance which chapters are read in which week and when the discussion happens.

You do not need to be an “expert” to join a club. There is room for beginners and experienced readers alike — what matters is a sincere desire to read the book.

Culture

How people talk here

  1. Cite your source

Support your thought with text: which chapter, which line? An exact quote is the strongest argument. Guesses begin with “I think”.

  2. Mark spoilers

Hide plot twists behind a special mark. Stealing someone’s joy of discovery is the crudest mistake.

  3. Disagree respectfully

Different interpretations are a wealth. Instead of “you are wrong”, say “I read it differently”. Even a heated debate stays within decency.

  4. “I don’t know” is decent

Not knowing is not shameful; asserting is. Never pass categorical judgement on a book you have not read. Asking a question is the most respectful contribution.

When will clubs open?

The community launches in stages. First, several trial clubs will open — participants will be chosen from the waitlist. Their experience will polish the rules.

Then the tracks will expand and everyone will be able to open their own club. Quality control will remain: each new club passes a short briefing.

Join the waitlist — we will let you know as soon as the first clubs open. Which track comes first is for you to decide.
