Yodnoma is a helper app for readers: a curated quotes collection and a community bringing book lovers together. Here you can save your favourite lines, turn them into beautiful cards and discuss them with people who love the same books. The name itself states the goal: “yodnoma” means something memorable, a keepsake.

There are two sources. The first is curated quotes selected by the editors: the strongest lines from great works, with author and work credited. The second is your own quotes: photograph a book page and the text is recognised automatically into your collection. Quotes are always given with their source and unaltered.

A 30-day marathon: a chosen group reads one book together. Each week chapters are set and a discussion opens for them. Spoiler protection applies — a conversation about a chapter you have not read yet is not shown to you. At the end, participants draw a shared conclusion. Tracks: Uzbek literature, philosophy, history, science, psychology, business, classics and more.

Goodreads is built mostly around ratings and lists. At Yodnoma’s centre stand quotes and discussion: exchanging thoughts grounded in text, chapter-by-chapter conversations, spoiler protection. What matters here is not “I gave 5 stars” but “this line made me think”.

At the first stage the main features — saving quotes, collections, clubs — will be free. Later an affordable subscription for extended features may be added. The main principle: reading must be accessible to everyone.

Yes. Your personal quotes and notes belong only to you — they are not passed to third parties or used in advertising. What to make public, you choose yourself with a separate action. You can delete your account completely at any time.

Yes — but a little later. First, trial clubs will open and the rules will be polished. After that, everyone will be able to open their own club: you pick a theme, set a 30-day programme and invite participants. For quality control, each new club passes a short briefing.

Of course. You can delete a single quote or clear the whole collection. If you close your account completely, all your data is deleted from the server too. Your data is your property.
