Yodnoma

A readers’ app — launching soon

Never let what you read disappear

Yodnoma is a helper app for readers: a curated quotes collection and a community bringing book lovers together. Save your favourite lines, turn them into beautiful cards, discuss them with people who love the same books.

How the app works

Photograph a book page in the app — it returns a short summary, 3 key ideas and one quote. Analysis is ready in a minute, and the quote lands straight in your collection.

What the app returns

  1. A short summary of the page — the essence at a glance.
  2. 3 key ideas — the author’s strongest thoughts.
  3. One quote — a line worthy of your collection.

“You do not rise to the level of your goals — you fall to the level of your systems.”

— “Atomic Habits”, James Clear

The problem

Why do we forget what we read?

Picture this: a month ago you read an excellent book. Its ideas excited you; you told your friends about them. A month has passed — and you can barely remember anything. Neither the author’s name nor the main thought. That is not laziness; that is how human memory naturally works.

According to the “forgetting curve” discovered by the German psychologist Hermann Ebbinghaus back in the 19th century, most unreinforced information is lost within the first day, and after a week almost no trace remains. Reading is the richest way to gain knowledge, but without a system to reinforce it, the hours spent evaporate.

There is a second problem: readers are lonely. It is hard to find someone nearby who has read the same book and with whom you could discuss it. A post about a book on social media drowns in noise. But book lovers need their own people and their own environment — people who will understand a quote and seriously answer a question.

Yodnoma solves both problems at once. First, it helps you keep your favourite lines — they will no longer get lost in the margins of a notebook or in your phone’s gallery. Second, it gathers people who love the same books in one place — for discussions, clubs and the shared joy of reading.

The solution

Yodnoma — a readers’ app

Yodnoma stands on two pillars. The first is a curated quotes collection: the strongest lines from great works, themed collections, one new quote every day. You can also save your own favourite phrases — just photograph a book page.

The second pillar is the book lovers’ community. This is not just a comments section: 30-day book clubs, discussions by books and chapters, reading marathons, exchanging recommendations. There is no “race for likes” here — only books, thoughts and respectful conversation.

Both pillars are connected by the app’s smart analysis: you photograph a page, the app returns a summary and a quote — the quote lands straight in your collection. The book is at the centre, noise stays aside. Our simplest measure is this: if a user closes Yodnoma and opens a book, the product has done its job.

Our philosophy

The book at the centre, noise aside

Our main rule is simple: the book is at the centre, attention theft stays aside. Yodnoma was not created to glue you to a screen, but to bring you back to a book. The best outcome is you closing the app and opening a book.

That is why there will be no infinite feed, no “race for likes”, no ranking tables here. There will be curated quotes, meaningful discussions and people who respect each other. A quiet, deep, sincere environment — like the reading room of a good library.
